Rolling In Dough

Made sausage bread last night, we (husband) grew up eating it, stuck close to the MIL’s recipe, with the addition of pepperoni as one swine flavor is never enough.

And just like our whiskey cake, it makes a pretty tasty breakfast.

Freddy Jones Band

While in Chicago, we (wife) checked out the Lakeview Taco Fest. Sponsored by Sam Adams, so we drank a lot of Sam Adams. #DontTellShane

Got to see the Freddy Jones Band, a Chicago college band that made it big with a crazy loyal following, who know the words to every song and all happen to now be 35+. Never say never.

Meellions

Hey do you read AM News? Yeah, neither do we but today’s copy that we found on the subway has the Citi Bike program as its headline story.

hey thanks for the pix: animalnewyork.com

Apparently the launch is a success with millions having participated by biking over 6,600,000 miles! Um, where the hell is everybody going?

And for those of you who have asked us about getting in on the action…not a chance. Have you ever seen a rider flip off the front of their bike over the car door that just opened? We have. Enough said.

See you upstate!

PS: for those of you riding, for the love of God put a helmut on!
