Bob’s Your Uncle

Got Kiwi oysters this evening. From Coromandel, on the North Island of New Zealand. We love that country, so pretty, so mountain-y and so much lamb, yum!

Harvested in a two-year growth period, they have the usual off white flesh of a pacific oyster with a strong sweet and salty flavor with a watermelon-like aftertaste.
