Pretty In Pink

You folks went bonkers over the wild Belons. We too dig the rare French by way of Maine oysters of the world. Only 5,000 a year are pulled. You’re welcome.

And speaking of bonkers…just because you can do this, doesn’t mean you should. #oyveh

Go Ahead And Jump

We kinda take pride in the fact that while BuckShowalter is beastly in size, he’s well trained and generally obedient. But then we had an incident on Monday.

The beast was hanging out with us at the shop. On the walk back to our apt we passed our neighbor Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque. Folks sitting in the window called out to the dog. Big mistake. BuckShowalter jumped up into the window to help himself to their lunch. Pretty sure one guy crapped his pants. #karma

And how was your holiday weekend?

Memorial Day

It’s impossible to serve fresh fish with the market closed Sunday & Monday, so we’ll be closed Memorial Day. And we meanĀ Fulton Fish market not stock market.

BTW – pancakes are the official Memorial Day breakfast

See you upstate!

(just not on Monday, we’re closed remember?)

When The Hangover Strikes

We’ve got a chilly gray day kicking off the holiday weekend, seems like a perfectly good excuse to go sit in a dark movie theatre with a bunch of immature dudes

Been invited by old Ian to see The Hangover lll this afternoon. Wish this country served beer at the movies, luckily we (wife) are skilled six-pack smugglers.

Sweet & salty WiAnno oysters arrived this morning, known as the pretty oyster. Got the crew downstairs cleaning them for tonight’s service.

It’s Like Thunder And Lightning

So who got caught in this morning’s sun shower? We did. Afternoon thunder storm? We did. Early evening torrential downpour? We did. #hattrick

The Citi Bike program launches May 27. Our friend Neil sent us this handy map, super helpful in locating all the bike stations throughout the city. Um, exactly.

You Can’t Hurry Love

Last night our neighbors Jeff & Paul tied the knot. After 20 years of dating – #respect. A sunset ceremony on the water at The Frying Pan.

Excellent wedding favors but then again wouldn’t expect anything less from a couple that marries in Japanese couture.

Chowing down on chili dogs and cheeseburgers hot of the grill with a city skyline view was one of funnest wedding meals. And our whiskey cake was part of the viennese table!

Puttin’ On The Ritz

We can’t stop laughing at being lumped in with such a fancy pants group, talk about red herring. It’s super cool but super funny too.

She’s A Little Runaway

Who says exciting things never happen in small towns?

A cow on the lam found its way into the fountain of Veterans Memorial Park, which is in our (husband) hometown. #truestory
