1 in 175,000,000

The record jackpot has been won. One ticket in Arizona and one in Missouri. So it wasn’t us. Oh and an additional 8,924,123 people won smaller prizes. But not us.

Hey thanks for pix Huffington Post

The jackpot increased to $579.9 million by the time of the drawing, making the cash option $379.8 million. If you win, always go for the cash option. Just be wary of relatives…case in point, a little incident between two siblings.

Hey thanks for the pix: officialpsds.com

Once upon a lottery drawing, a sister mentioned how she would spend her $100,000,000+ winning fortune; offering immediate family members one million dollars each. Friends and extended family would benefit too but not everyone was aligned.

BROTHER: Wait, you’re only giving me one million dollars?

WIFE: Yes, one mill-yun dollars

BROTHER: But only one mill-yun?!

WIFE: One mill-yun is alot!

BROTHER: Yes but you have mill-yuns more!

WIFE: Technically I don’t have to give you any!

FATHER: Technically you didn’t buy tickets so this is an incredibly annoying argument

And there you have it folks. Since we are not instant bajillionares, we’re open this evening.

See you upstate!
