Seasonal Brew Review

Best part about the holidaze holidays? The holiday seasonal brew releases! And we intend to rotate as many limited-edition beers into our line-up as we can. First up: Sly Fox Christmas Ale.

Hey thanks for the pix beer pulse.com

So the official Sly Fox description goes something like this:

Malty, full-bodied red ale is made with traditional mulling spices – Ginger, Clove, All Spice, Cinnamon & Nutmeg.

Wine glass makes morning beer tasting seem a tiny bit less hedonistic

Now if you were to ask us, we’d say:

Imagine a freshly baked gingerbread man cookie that you dropped on your floor that’s riddled with Christmas tree needles (white pine as that’s the only kind of tree the Old Man gets). But adhering to the three second rule, you pickup said cookie to melt it in the microwave – pine needles and all. Then you place that hot melted liquid cookie in the freezer to cool off. And viola! Sly Fox Christmas Ale.

Yes, it’s just that good folks.

See you upstate!
