New York ranks #40 on the list of US state breweries per capita based on the Brewers Association’s count of operating breweries and the 2010 Census population. Um, yeah we don’t quite get the math but that’s not really the point. Vermont is #1. Vermont. A bunch of crunchy tree hugging hippies out ranked us?
We’ve also been rotating some New York vineyards onto our wine list.
You all went bonkers over the Wolffer Estate Rose we served this summer.
And now we’ve got a few different whites in the house for everyone to try.
We’d love to serve mulled wine, that is if winter ever really arrives.
Our friend Sarah, also a fellow upstater from Buffalo sent us this map below. We love us some chicken rigges. Ridiculously spicy good. (Husband can’t handle spicy)
In addition to Vermont, the top 5 states in breweries per capita are: Oregon, Montana, Colorado and Maine. So we’ve got some drinking to do as the next Census is in 2016. Lucky for all of you, we just updated our draught selection today.
See you upstate!
