Greenwich Village 39th Annual Halloween Parade

Nerdiest halloween costume ever? Brian Moore/Mark Svartz’s Google Street Boo. An interactive costume paying homage to Google Street View, complete with a map tracker and live streaming video of New York City’s 39 Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. And props to the boys for Post Road Pumpkin Ale consumption in the video below.

Apparently the streets will be flooded with zombies of all sorts this evening. Any of you Walking Dead fans? After last night’s episode, just like after every episode we (wife) discuss what our survival strategy to live in a zombie apocalypse world would be. And to be clear, it’s every man for himself – vows, shmows. It’s good to have these difficult conversations sooner in the relationship than later.

Chef is taking tonight off – so lots of raw bar with plenty of beer and wine. Starting at 5pm this evening we will be running $1.50 oyster specials all night long (well at least until we run out). Oh and if you see any good oyster costumes, please send pix our way.

See you upstate!
