Our Kitchen is Open

We are incredibly grateful for all the support and interest from the neighborhood, the beer community and of course oyster lovers. It’s been an amazing first few days and we hope to see you all again (and again)…thanks to the Wall Street Journal for Daniella Zalcman’s pix below and Laura Kusisto’s write-up

In addition to our daily East Coast/West Coast oyster selection, the kitchen is now open providing savory, shareable bar snacks like cheese and charcuterie plates, as well as serving main dishes like scallops, wild sea bass, squid and the house favorite fettuccine and clams. The menu varies weekly as we do not have a single freezer in the place, so be sure to check back on our eat page of the site.

Our friends at MetroMix gave us a nice write up too  and props to Noah Fecks  for the mouth-watering pix of our seared scallops with raw summer slaw drizzled with olive oil and vinegar.

Oh and we’ve changed up the draught system again – by having sixtels of beer we can feature a weekly new selection. But not to worry, Mother’s Milk of Keegan Ales is back on. Seems quite a few of you really like the Kingston, NY stout after all it pairs well with our menu. See you upstate!
